Stingray Patch

Congratulations to Kate Carrick, Slow Food Miami and to all the parents teachers and students who worked so hard to create our spectacular Stingray Patch!!! We must add a special thanks to Ramsey Sullivan and Jonathan Blum for their dedication and all their hard work. We are so lucky to have so many amazing parents who donated both time and money to make this very special project a reality for our children.

Kate: 
"Slowfood & Coconut Grove Garden club helped us with the first garden 
and then it just snowballed from there. The kids are VERY proud of their gardens!"

    Many thanks to all the kids that raided their piggy banks and for Dr. Lopez giving us the green light and encouraging us to have a garden for each grade. However, I have to send a big hi five to my partners Ramsey & Jonathon Sullivan without their compost hauling we would never have gotten this far so soon.
